Searibs is a well established producer of performance crafts with head office in Sobral de Monte Agraço and shipyard in Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
This year, it is supporting the MINI Kitesurf Odyssey, by providing one boat.
The boat has a key role throughout the journey by the Portuguese coast, both in terms of securing the Kitesurfer Francisco Lufinha, as the entire crew.
The robust inflatable boat is 8.6 meters long, and has a center console, a pilot’s seat and a navigator’s seat. It is equipped with one 250 hp Yamaha power engine.
The first skipper of the boat is Gustavo Mateus, an experienced navigator and also co-owner of Searibs.
Gustavo has more than 20 years of experience in building and developing ribs.
At the present time he is the production director of Searibs and along his journey he sums some victories on the national championship of PR750 and he was part of different projects by giving technical support/safety, the last one being the “Bering Strait Expedition”.
To Gustavo, navigating is a passion and a challenge.
